Meet the Therapist
Amanda Hines
Myotherapist
I completed my Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy in March of 2017 and Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2015 from the Australian College of Fitness and Bodywork.
I am a member of the Myotherapy Association Australia.
I have been working in the industry for 7 years, having successfully worked in a leading Myotherapy Clinic in Ballarat before opening my own small practice.
I enjoy being able to help my patients with any muscular pain, injuries or dysfunctions that they may be experiencing. I tend to treat with a holistic approach, focusing on the whole body rather than just the area of pain which I have found leads to a stronger overall recovery.
Having a background in Remedial Massage means that I tends to compliment my Myotherapy skills with deep or soft tissue massage in all treatments. I have experience with all ages including young children, adolescents and elderly.
I enjoy treating a variety of conditions including pre and post natal women.
When not working, I am generally running around after the family. I have 2 boys that are secondary school aged and a couple of Maine Coon cats.
My children are involved Scouts in Creswick and Ballarat, I volunteer my time as a Scout Leader.
I have bred and shown rabbits in recent years, I am also an all breeds judge which allows me to travel Australia each year judging.
When I have free time, I can be found out hiking and exploring our beautiful countryside.
I have a keen interest in travelling, having visited Europe, Asia and America as well as having travelled and lived in remote parts of Australia in my younger years.
