Exercise Prescription

Exercise prescription enables you as the patient to help yourself in your own environment. The exercises will generally include some stretches to help lengthen the hypertonic muscles and some strengthening exercises to improve the weak muscles and correct any dysfunctions that may be occurring.

Generally these exercises will not take a long time, 5 – 10 minutes at the most, and should be completed at least 4-5 times a week. Some exercises may require equipment such as therabands/resistance bands and light weights.

Exercise Prescription will help reduce future pain.
