Joint Mobilisation

Joint Mobilisation

Joint Mobilisation is a technique used by Myotherapists to help relieve joint pain and improve joint movement.

It involves the practitioner passively applying pressure to the joints in varying angles and speeds. This will help loosen tight tight muscles and ligaments, and allow more joint capsule space which can lead to increasing the joint range of movement.

Common areas of joint pain are the cervical and thoracic spine. Often stiff joint in the neck can lead to headaches and migraines if left untreated.
