Taping

Taping

Taping comes in several forms.

Dynamic tape is used for long term sports injuries, postural dysfunctions and pain relief. The tape allows the body to move freely through its normal motions, lifting the fascia away from the ligaments and tendons to allow the lymphatic system to promote new blood flow and reduce pain.

Dynamic tape can also be used to reduce swelling from hematomas that can occur from sporting injuries.

Rigid tape is used to stop movement and keep an area from further damage. It is also used at time for postural dysfunction correction through the use of muscle memory.

Taping can be used as a form of muscular pain relief.
